Swiss Vapeur/ Aqua Parks
The Swiss Vapeur Parc, was developed in the 1980’s and is one of the most prestigious miniature railway parks in Europe.
It is located in Switzerland, next to Lac Leman (Geneva) and not far from the French/ Swiss border.
The park and its full-scale models of railways, are maintained and updated regularly by a small group of enthusiasts.
The 19’000m² Park is set in beautifully landscaped park and gardens. The park operates both miniature steam and electrical trains, all complemented by displays of miniature buildings and structures throughout the park.
The park has a few places where you can buy food and drinks. Outside of the park there are several restaurants dotted around the nearby harbour and a passenger ferry terminal offering journeys to various destinations around the lake. Nearby there is also the Aqua Park.
Aqua Parc Aventure and Glisse, is a Caribbean themed water park and one of the biggest in Europe.
The aqua park has 20,000m2 of attractions, both indoors and outdoors, including a sandy beach.
The park provides entertainment for the whole family, from toddlers, older children and grown-ups alike.
There are a vast selection of slides and other attractions on offer, from the relaxing lazy river to the adrenaline inducing Booster Loop. For people just wanting to relax and unwind the aqua park has a steam room, sauna and jacuzzis, both inside and outside.
The aqua park boasts a good selection of snack bars and restaurants along with a pool side bar.
